TOWA Hand Held Labeller
The TOWA hand held labellers are simple, easy to use devices that allow you to quickly label your products if you have small batches, manual production or want to get through rework quickly.
What is unique to the TOWA is a mechanical label sensor which make the labelling operation very easy, the power for the labelling operation comes from a squeeze on the trigger grip but because the label advance is automatic stopped by the label sensor, this cleverly designed labeller makes the semi-automatic classification.
A perfect match for the TOWA applicator is our Avery Dennison AP5.4 printer with integral rewinder. Simply click print and your custom labels will be automatically printed and rolled up so that you can transfer them onto the TOWA then, after a bit of cickety-clack, your product is ready to go to market!

Avery Dennison ALS2 Series Label Applicators
The ALS2 series label applicators are the most value dense labellers available because they combine very high performance specifications with an ultra reliabile design, and relatively little cost.
Key features include a shoe unwind brake with tunable release point, and dancer arm controlled powered rewind meaning that this labeller tracks true and places labels onto products with absolute precision, over and over again, without web breakages and without the need for maintenance.
The feature list includes ergonomic levers and handles which are colour coded, high IP rating (up to IP65), dynamic unwind mandrel, in-built web server for remote administration, and an optional remote control.
With label widths up to six inches wide and labelling speeds up to 40 metres a minute, the ALS2 series labellers meets most application requirements and can be quickly retro-fitted to production lines, packaging machines and existing labelling system in need of a upgrade.
To make retro-fitting simple Reynolds Group supply Rose and Krieger support stands and leadscrews as well as custom 3D designed brackets, for the more demanding applications.

Avery Dennison ALS3 Series High Speed Labelling Heads
The ALS3 series label applicators are designed for more demanding applications especially where either high speeds, very wide labels, or continual processes are involved.
Key features include a modular design which allows the labeller to be upgraded with new features as and when they are required, like a second unwind mandrel to facilitiate rapid changeovers with a splicing table. The modular design also means that service operations can be conducted 'offline' whilst a backup module is fitted which, although unlikely, is a thoughtful consideration for high volume customers.
The ALS3 range has very high precision in the label placement owing to the push-pull effect between the two main modules (the apply unit and powered rewind unit) which produces very high acceleration rates, and therefore very accurate following of the production line speed,
With label widths up to nine inches wide and labelling speeds up to 60 metres a minute the ALS3 series labellers meets more demanding application requirements yet can still be quickly retro-fitted to production lines, packaging machines and existing labelling systems.
To make retro-fitting simple Reynolds Group supply Rose and Krieger support stands and leadscrews as well as custom 3D designed brackets, for the more demanding applications.

RGL Smallgoods Labeller
The RGL smallgoods labeller is a fully automatic labelling system which has a very compact footprint and a unique tilting conveyor, offering seamless transfer from a multitude of packaging and process machines such as thermo-formers which makes it ideal for food industry applications, especially smallgoods.
Reynolds Group has further demonstrated their experience with the food industry by incorporating hygienic design features as well as a high IP rating as standard for wash down production environments.
In the engine room is the ultra reliable Avery Dennison ALS2 series label applicator as standard with a label printer applicator upgrade option available. Both applicators deliver extremely accurate label placement, ease of use, and future-proofing as the smallgoods labeller is capable of very high speeds and production rates.
Requiring only mains power the labeller can be upgraded with castor wheels to meet the mobile requirements of batch processing, making it ideal for contract packers and seasonal producers.

RGL Specialty Cheeses Label Dresser
The RGL specialty cheese labeller features a split belt conveyor, making it possible to label the underside of products, which is particularly useful when the product heights are highly irregular.
With the addition of an overhead labeller specialty cheeses can be labelled, top and bottom, in a single pass and because Avery Dennison label applicators are integrated, very fast production rates are possible.
The unique remote display option available on the Avery Dennison range of labellers enables operators to monitor the labeller status from the conveyor side, without having to kneel down.
By upgrading to a label printer applicator, final customisation like printing of the barcode, date code and nutritional label can be done in real time, saving money in printing and label inventory costs.

RGL Honey Jar Labelling System
The RGL honey jar labelling system has been specifically designed to accurately decorate square, hexagonal, and cylindrical honey jars from 250g to 1kg with the additional capability of applying and aligning a tamper evident onto the cap that dresses down the back of the product.
Recognising that honey producers change packaging and labels often, the RGL honey labeller has been designed for very rapid changeovers with no wasted labels. On PLC models the operators are guided through product changeovers via a large colour touchscreen which recalls, in sequence, the correct positions for mechanical components such as the wrap unit height, labeller height and backing pad pressure.
Another great innovation that RGL have built into all PLC controlled labellers is a KPI module that provides reports directly to the operators at the end of product runs and shifts letting them know if the production throughput and labeller management met your expectations. Everything from the number of stops, label replenishment times, avarage and peak production rates, and emergency stops are recorded and count towards the final score.

RGL GS1 Carton Barcoders
The RGL carton labelling system features an GS1-128/EAN-128 barcode printer that is fully integrated into a carton conveyor and meets GS1 requirements by applying fully compliant barcodes on two adjacent sides of the box, in one pass.
The RGL carton labeller uses an industral label printer applicator, the Avery Dennison ALX720 to high speed print then wipe apply the barcode label down the side of the box after which a pnuematic cylinder dresses the label around the corner and down the trailing edge.
The system is PLC controlled using genuine Reynolds Group software to make sure that the labeller ans pnuematic cylinder remain in perfect synchronisation and to make sure that the pnuematic cylinder cannot come to harm. The system also has unique safety features attached to the pnuematic cylinder making the carton labeller the most robust, reliabile and safest labeller available.
