One of the main decisions to make is whether you select flat head or near edge printing technology. If you're printing on most of the surface area of the label and speed is not an issue (like on-demand shipping labels) you'll get the most value out of flat head technology. But if you're overprinting a small portion of a pre-printed label (with a barcode or best before date) our unique near edge makes commercial sense very quickly, especially if quick label printing is what you're after.
So as a very simple guide to our range, if you need print smaller quantities of labels, or shipping labels, think Zebra. If you need industrial quantities or are overprinting onto small areas of pre-printed labels, think Avery Dennison. Zebra GK Series 203DPI Desktop Printers
Well suited to retail, healthcare and manufacturing industries, the extra compact GK series printers are the perfect fit wherever you need a low priced, space saving printer for receipts, coupons, labels or tags.
Along with fast print speeds of up to 5 inches per second they offer USB/Serial connectivity and 10/100 Ethernet as an option. GK series printers are available in both Thermal Direct and Thermal Transfer configurations.

Zebra GX Series 203DPI Desktop Printers
The GX series printers are extra compact to fit in congested work spaces and produce 203 DPI print resolutions at speeds up to 6 inches per second. Their wide range of options include 802.11 b/g or Bluetooth wireless connectivity and 10/100 Ethernet, in addition to standard USB, Serial and Parallel.
The GX series is available in both Thermal Direct and Thermal Transfer variants and you can increase your media choices and application flexibility with cutter, peeler, and adjustable black line sensor options.

Zebra S4M Benchtop Printers
Designed for the budget-minded, the S4M has the features needed to support many applications at an affordable price. With easy controls and proven side-loading design, it's quick to learn, use, and load, so operators can focus on more productive tasks. The S4M has a rugged metal contruction construction and with capacity for a full 8" roll fewer label changes are required making it even more user friendly and forgiving.
Available in Thermal Transfer and Thermal Direct options the S4M achieves print speeds of 6 inches per second in both 203DPI and 300DPI variants.

Zebra ZM400-600 Series Barcode Printers
The ZM series of full size metal printers are rugged and boast print speeds of 10 inches per second. They also feature a large selection of customer configuration options to suit tough environments and demanding applications.

Avery Dennison 64 Series Industrial Benchtop Printers
The Avery Dennison 64 series of printers combine near edge technology and high performance to deliver a label printer with low ownership costs. These feature packed machines process print jobs with a blindingly fast 64 bit processor and print at speeds up to 400mm per second, important if time is money!
Using near edge print head technology the 64 series lift the print head in non-print areas of the label which means the ribbon does not advance which saves lots of money over the machine life. If you are over-printing date codes, lot codes or barcodes onto labels with existing artwork the 64 series is a must!

We import Armor thermal transfer ribbon and printing foils direct from the manufacturer and distribute them in New Zealand under our own private label, ensuring best quality and great prices.
We stock flat head and near edge ribbons of all types (wax, wax-resin, premium wax-resin and resin) and also have speciality ribbons for high speed printing as well as heat, solvent, rub and wash resistance. All of our ribbons include a special back coat that prevents static electricity from damaging thermal printheads as well as acting as cleaning agent.
